The Garden Route offers numerous adventures and activities for golfers and adventure seekers or just relaxing on the beach or alongside the pristine lagoon.  The scenery is stunning, from dark, secretive forests to white beaches, magnificent coastlines or majestic mountains.  Below we have selected a few of the activities in the area for your perusal and there are many more.

Golfing...

Pezula Golf Course.  
Situated on top of the famous Knysna Heads, only 2 minutes from Birds of a Feather B&B.
Garden Route golf courses offer top class golf at a wide variety of courses, renowned for their stunning surroundings and excellent greens. 
Knysna Golf Course is also just down the road from Birds of a Feather.

Kynsna Elephants
Knysna Elephant Park. Get up close to these gentle giants.



Guided mountain biking in the forests with Mountain Biking Africa.  Gentle to extreme trails.



Horse riding in the forests at Southern Comfort Horse Ranch.
 

 

Canoe the Knysna River with The Heads Adventure Centre.  They also offer many more adventure activities including diving, abseiling down a waterfall and a Township Trail.

Visit Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary.  Home to many varied species of monkeys from several continents.

Quad bike on Featherbed Nature Reserve situated on the Eastern Head.  This adventure from SEAL Adventures also includes hiking & abseiling. 
 
 

Eco friendly boat based whale and dolphin watching with Ocean Blue Adventures in 
Plettenberg Bay.



Abseiling 120m off the top of the Knysna Heads for the brave at heart with Seal Adventures.

Cango Wildlife Ranch.  They have lions, cheetah's (which you can touch), a snake park, pigmy hippo's and much more.
     
 



Visit Highgate Ostrich farm and Cango Wildlife Ranch and the world famous Cango Caves on a day trip to Oudtshoorn for an unforgettable experience.

Canoe amongst the whales and dolphins in Plettenberg Bay with Dolphin Adventures, or try their oyster farm canoeing experience in the Knysna Lagoon.
